Incursion Second Edition - Weird War II

Board Games – Incursion was a great game, the only real issue with the first edition was how expensive it was to get the metal miniatures and the challenges of storing them. I was lucky enough to pick up the core box of the first edition ages ago and finally got my metal set of minis painted when the pandemic began. Its funny that I painted the second edition almost a year later.

Incursion 2nd Edition was a Kickstarted project the appears to have had some issues with production and delivery which looks like it lead to the original owner of the property recently selling it to one of the Super Backers who has since brought this edition back out and has promised more content including the Pacific Theater.

The second edition box scaled down the miniatures slightly and produced them as one piece plastic molds, similar to Zombicide and in the same scale. (convenient if you need more zombies I suppose) This box gives a ridiculous amount of models in an easy to transport box with storage trays for all the content. The sacrifice of a little bit of quality on some of the minis it totally worth the quantity of stuff you get.

Incursion is for those that are unfamiliar a Space Hulk style game where one player plays the elite team verse a horde of enemies. The game is based in a Weird War II world and has a tabletop game that can also use these models.
