A detailed account of my various commission/hobby projects.
Board Games – Sadly although I’ve painted every model for this game and watched a ton of play throughs I still haven’t had a chance to play The Others: Seven Sins. The game looks super fun and I loved the dark theme, however the game is a little mature to play with the kids so until I can get a group together to play I’ll just enjoy the models.
This “final” box has Delta Team and a variety of corrupted citizens.
Board Games - It’s amazing the amount of content CMON produces for their board games. I’ve painted up several batches of these models for my client and I think she still has a few more sets to go. When this game was up on Kickstarter originally I picked up the “core” set but still haven’t had a chance to put it on the table, from what I’ve heard it’s an amazing game with a rich backstory. I love the models and hopefully I’ll be able to find some free space on my painting table to get my own set done soon.
Board Games – I’ve now painted the complete set of minis for The Others: Seven Sins. The final expansion bring out the four horsemen and the avatar of the apocalypse. Just like the rest of the models for this board game these are pretty amazing. The pictures pretty much speak for themselves, if you have any questions about the technique post in the comments below.
Read MoreBoard Games – The Others: Seven Sins is a fun board game with a pretty rich backstory involving the supernatural, a government agency and a Cthulu-esque threat that needs to be dealt with. The coolest part of this game are the miniatures. Each one is well detailed, hard-ish plastic and looks just like the art on the character cards. If you’re a fan of Hellboy, BRP, MIB, or Ghostbusters you’re probably going to like this game’s concept.

As board game miniatures they're really nice and some of the larger models would look right at home on a 28mm tabletop battlefield. (which several of my 40k clients mention anytime they see these on my painting table)
Read MoreBoard Games – The sins keep coming as I work my way through the expansions for The Others: Seven Sins. This time around is Lust. When I first saw this models I was a little confused as there's nothing sexy about them. The typical super sexy girl/guy treatment doesn't exist which through me for a loop initially.

I'm bummed i haven't had time to work on my own set or actually play this game but I think I might try and push it for after my current 40K campaign wraps up. The game is very well designed and the models are great so I need to play it.
Read MoreBoard Games - Sometimes you get the coolest effects without planning on it. My latest batch of board game bits comes from the Greed expansion for The Others: Seven Sins. For those of you unfamiliar with the game it pits Hellboy-esque agents of FAITH against the otherworldly threat of The Others. It's a bit Cthulu-esque mixed in with the traditional Seven Deadly Sins. The core box gets you two of the major sins with their minions and the other five sins are available individually.

I've already painted a Sons of Ragnorak hero set for one of my board game clients. This time around she gave me the core heroes and the large sin monster: Pride.
